Access to NHS dentists was a problem within the Rochdale Borough, partly because of high demand but also because many patients booked appointments but failed to attend or cancel the same day which are referred to as ‘do not attend’ appointments (DNAs). The campaign delivered a 37% decrease in DNA’s and a 29.6% decrease in cancellations.
