It is widely recognised that antimicrobial resistance is a major threat to public health. Inappropriate antibiotic prescribing contributes to an increasing risk of antimicrobial resistance.  Perfect Circle worked with NHS Cheshire & Merseyside to reduce patient requests for antibiotics to cure toothache and the corresponding number prescriptions issued in primary care dentistry.
