Football is committed to social change – particularly in disadvantaged communities.  It has the power to instil confidence, hope and pride, where there is little of it, in addition to promoting teamwork, cooperation and a positive approach to life generally.


It provides common ground for engaging in a wide range of social development activities and campaigns, including social integration, education opportunities, health promotion and much more.

Football is engaging young people and children across the globe and at home in some really tough communities. But what sorts of social marketing campaigns can influence people’s lives in this way?
