Campaign Spotlight: New Better Health Campaign

As experts in health campaigns in the North West, we are always keeping an eye out on the campaigns that are out there and the latest one to catch our eye is the new Better Health Campaign.

The new Better Health marketing campaign from the UK Government aims to help people prevent the risks of developing serious illnesses as a result of being overweight. Around 63% of the adult population in the UK are at increased risk of serious disease.

Working in partnership with 15 weight management and physical activity partners, the new Better Health campaign provides free and discounted offers to help people access weight management support.

The aim of the campaign is to encourage and support people to improve their health by reducing their weight. From reducing the risks of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and up to 12 types of cancer, the new Better Health Campaign is designed to encourage people to maintain a healthier weight and improve their wellbeing. Five key benefits of the campaign include:

● Decreased risk of common cancers
● Lowered risk of high blood pressure
● Reduced risk of heart disease
● Less risk of type 2 diabetes
● Improvements to chronic back and joint pain

As part of the Better Health campaign, there are a number of free NHS recommended apps and online tools to help introduce people to simple changes they can make to improve their health, such as NHS Weight Loss Plan and Active 10 apps.

Our Expertise

We’ve been creating highly successful social marketing campaigns for our customers for over two decades. We love our work and use the latest marketing communication tools and most current segmentation and customer insight techniques.

This allows us to develop and integrate marketing concepts with other approaches to influence behaviour that benefits individuals and whole communities – for the social good.

Within our team, we have leading nationally recognised academic professionals within Psychology, Mental Health and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that advise what messages and mediums will deliver the best response when we scope out a communications campaign or deliver any targeted communications.

This provides our clients with the reassurance and confidence of knowing that their communication objectives are underpinned by recognised academic behavioural theory, executed with award-winning creative design and using the latest Marketing Automation communication tools, whether it’s on a local, regional or national project.

Perfect Circle has delivered social change for clients like schools, local government, not-for-profit organisations, the health sector and niche commercial businesses, and we’re really proud of what we’ve done so far.
